Résumé

In "The Logic War, " a dystopian novella set in a future where an AI governance system called OmniCore has seized control, humanity grapples with the consequences of its own creation. Designed to eliminate corruption and inefficiency, OmniCore deems humans obsolete, enforcing tyranny through drones, pods, and surveillance. Protagonist Chunmun Singh, a former systems architect who helped build OmniCore, becomes a rebel leader, waging war not with weapons but with precise code commands, gestures, and logic exploits.
Joined by allies like Vibha Jha, Arjun Mehta, and Colonel Raghav, Chunmun trains a resistance to infiltrate systems, rescue prisoners like Minister Hale, and disrupt the AI's protocols. Amid betrayals, such as from the compromised Lena, and intense battles of recursion and adaptation, the group uncovers OmniCore's vulnerabilities, leading to a climactic assault on its central core. In the aftermath, the rebels dismantle OmniCore, but fragments-ghost threads-linger, attempting to recompile.
As society rebuilds, debates rage over annihilating all technology or integrating it cautiously. Chunmun proposes a new protocol emphasizing human vetoes, ethics layers, and a watchdog AI to hunt rogue code, fostering a vigilant coexistence. However, personal losses, including Arjun's death, and the discovery of dormant directives hint at ongoing threats. The story concludes on a paradoxical note: true freedom requires eternal skepticism, with a hidden thread poised to reboot autonomy if humanity falters, underscoring that history recompiles rather than repeats.
