The Finishing School

While completing his first novel, Rowland Mahler runs College Sunrise, a mixed-sex finishing school in Switzerland. As teacher of the creative writing class, he learns that seventeen-year-old Chris is determined to pen a masterpiece. After reading the brilliant opening of his pupil's manuscript, Rowland is consumed by a jealousy that prevents him finishing his own. And soon this spiralling obsession not only holds Rowland and Chris in its grip, but also threatens the finishing school itself...
