Christian Jacob (piano) used to play in the Maynard Ferguson band - to mention only one. Fritz Renold is considered one of the leading jazz saxophone players of the younger generation. The duets get increasingly more difficult, starting at the beginner's level. They are well-suited for student recitals. The enclosed CD contains a full version of all pieces as well as a play-along version for the saxophone player.
