Résumé
Some of the papers were substantially reviewed and updated by their Authors just before publication. The contributions collected in this work dealt with the major and current issues involving antitrust matters including analysis of the latest developments in the enforcement of EC antitrust law in the post-modernisation era as well as the increasing importance of private enforcement, in particular in the light of the récent publication by the European Commission of its White Paper on Damages actions for breach of EC antitrust law. Considarable reflection was also given to specific topics such as the interference between antitrust law and consumer protection law, the abuse of dominant position - highlighting the importance of economic analysis in evaluating this category of antitrust breach - and the role of class actions in antitrust cases. This publication also contains contributions concerning compétition issues of specific sectors such as public procurement, aviation, energy, pharmaceuticals and télécommunications.
