Tipperary to Thailand

While I never considered my life was anything other than normal and maybe even a bit mundane, I had pause to think one evening when I was guest speaker at the local rotary club. The president needed some information for his introduction, so briefly, I told him a bit about my life. He stopped halfway through his notes and said to me: "My, you've led a bit of an exciting life." Thinking about it later, I had to conclude that as a hunter, fisherman, traveller, and a writer I had embraced a lifestyle that many might be envious.
