Résumé

CHAPTER 1: CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH DAIRY INTAKE Rather than protecting against chronic disease, in the medical literature dairy is very commonly associated with some life-threatening diseases. This first chapter will open your eyes on the links between dairy intake and diseases like heart disease, diabetes and even cancer. CHAPTER 2: DANGERS IN INFANTS AND CHILDREN If you're a parent who does not hook your toddler, preschooler or teen up to an IV with milk in it, you're labeled an uncaring lout.
The idea that dairy could in ANY way be harmful to a child is just as ridiculous as saying that loaded guns make great play toys. Hopefully this chapter will blow these myths out of the water and you will begin to see that giving your child dairy is NOT a good idea. CHAPTER 3: DAIRY AND WEIGHT There has been much promotion and advertising suggesting that dairy products can contribute to weight loss.
However, this interpretation on the research is deceptive. This short chapter will shed some light on the reality between weight loss and dairy products. CHAPTER 4: DAIRY AND BONE HEALTH Few things have been more strongly linked in the public's mind as dairy intake for strong bones. However, as with everything else I've shown you, this is just not true. In contrast, not only is there no strong evidence to support the benefit of dairy on bone, but much of the evidence suggest the opposite.
