The Living Lion of Leaves

Initially, in a little schoolhouse on the edge of a forest, a young girl named Della sat in her class daydreaming. Her teacher had assigned the class the task of creating animals out of leaves and twigs they found outside. Della's imagination ran wild as she carefully crafted a lion named Luke, taking great care to add every detail from his sharp teeth to his majestic mane. To her surprise, as she placed the final leaf on his tail, Luke began to stir and come to life! From that day on, Della and Luke were inseparable friends, playing and exploring the forest together.
