Imprisoned in the bowels of the city, Kaelen discovers the horrific truth behind the kingdom's power.
The Great Furnace is not fueled by coal, but by a prisoner: Argent, the Silver Dragon of Industry. High Warden Kora is draining the dragon's essence to power her clockwork army, pushing the creature toward a "metaphysical meltdown" that threatens to rewrite the laws of physics and vaporize the entire region. Hope arrives in the form of Valerius, a disillusioned High Artificer who realizes that his city's equation ends in total collapse.
Forging a desperate alliance between Science and Magic, Kaelen must lead a prison break and a heist into the impregnable Core to free the Dragon. But the stakes are higher than mere survival. Lord Varrick, the Censor, has arrived to "edit" the story. Viewing the struggle as melodramatic noise, Varrick intends to change the genre from Adventure to Disaster, deleting the city's regulators to ensure a silent, tragic end.
