Résumé

The thought of college and the freedoms that come with it is exhilarating. Beingon your own without the watchful eyes of your parents seems like a dream cometrue. The anticipation is thrilling! To be able to do as you please, to try things that would not be allowed if your parents knew. To make your own decisions and plans for your life. Just the thought of it all was so intoxicating that it clouded good judgment.
Enough so that you do not think of the consequences that could follow. What could go wrong from a little harmless fun?Everyone else is living as they please, why can't I?Isn't this the time to experience life to the fullest!?Parents set boundaries and rules for the protection and happiness of their children. They care about the friends we keep and what we occupy our time with. God fearing parents care about our spiritual health and raise their children to love Jesus.
Church life plays a big role in their lives and the lives of their kids. These rules and choices aren't intended to make life boring but more so to guard from sin, mistakes, disappointments, heartbreak and bad choices. Proverbs 3:1-2My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for the length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. There are consequences for every choice we make, good or bad..By Alina Dubovoy
