Résumé

Are you searching for paradise? Come travel with me to Cocoa Beach! What follows is a guidebook of sorts from a local's perspective, but it's much more than that. Of course, you will have to read on and visit to appreciate it fully. I do promise you all that it is worth the trip! The locals generally refer to Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral as one and the same, for they are right on top of each other, and both are on our beautiful barrier island.
We will also briefly highlight a few surrounding areas, such as the Kennedy Space Center and Patrick Space Force Base, which are in close proximity. We are the nearest beach to Orlando and Walt Disney World. The beach is 7 miles long, and the island is only about a quarter-mile wide in most places. Thus getting around by bike is the ideal means of travel. While I prefer my cruiser-style beach bike, electric bikes are all the rage.
After all, it's been called the quintessential beach town.
