Orlando trained to be an assassin, but when confronted with the reality of what it meant, he left the council. Now, he's jobless and directionless, and he doesn't know where to start building himself a new life. Saving his human mate from a fellow trainee assassin isn't what he had in mind. Liam loves his cat and plants, and he has no idea why a woman he's never seen before would want to kill him, but he's relieved when Orlando steps in to save him.
