In this much requested sequel to 'Sit Down Time', the tale of gifted young musician Alan Cameron's coming-of-age continues into adolescence. What he wants to do on leaving school is go back into the hotel business, but failing that follow in his Uncle Ken's footsteps and study Geology, while his elders and mentors want him to teach music. But first he has to get into university. With girlfriends also coming into womanhood, life wasn't meant to be so easy.
On top of it all, a skinny runaway waif attaches himself to him. Who is he, and how are they to deal with him?
