The brave firefighters and paramedics of Howe County Firefighters are pulling together and rebuilding their lives after the disastrous death of Fire Chief John Brewer. New Fire Chief Duke Broebeck is stepping in to fill John's shoes and hiring new people as others leave the service. Allison Metcalfe fits right into this hornet's nest of interpersonal tension and explosive drama. Her lively sense of humor and friendly, outgoing nature makes her a perfect fit for the closely knit crew.
