Résumé

We met that winter when she descended from the mountainside, a beautiful figure covered in soft brown fur that stood out against the blanket of white. Her hair was dark and thick, braided long with a set of horns between tall ears that were raised high. And her hazel eyes shone like amber as they caught the light reflected off the snow. She was a half-breed unlike any other I'd seen, a wandering huntress in need of shelter as the forming blizzard threatened to bury everything.
I offered to host her in my cabin until the storm passed and she could travel on her own once more. But a life spent wandering was often a lonely one, and sharing a bed was a wonderful way to keep warm on those long, winter nights.A simple tale set inside a fantastical world, where the gods had long since shed their avatars and left the mortal races to fend for themselves. But as life continued to flourish, so too did stories endlessly unfold.
This is just one of those stories-of a short tryst in a cabin as a man and woman waited out the snowy nights.
