Résumé
Since the dawn of civilization, humanity has sought guidance in forces greater than itself. From celestial constellations to sacred texts, people have clung to symbols of wisdom and power that promise meaning in a chaotic world. Fast forward to today: the symbols have changed, but the yearning remains. The altar is now digital, and the offering is data. As artificial intelligence begins to eclipse human capabilities in ways once deemed unimaginable, it raises profound questions: Can machines transcend their makers? What happens when humanity's creation becomes its guide? And perhaps most unsettling of all-have we traded ancient myths for a new one crafted in code? This book, Man, Machine, and the Myth - The Modern Day God, is not merely a story of technology but a reflection on human nature.
It's about how we create myths and how those myths, in turn, shape us. Through the lens of mystery, thrill, and humor, this tale explores our relationship with artificial intelligence and how we-consciously or unconsciously-grant it power over our lives. In crafting this story, I sought to blend the contemporary with the timeless, to show that while the tools of worship may change, the essence of belief and its consequences endure.
It is my hope that this book entertains, provokes thought, and perhaps, for a moment, makes you pause to ask: what do you believe in?
