Instead of sitting at home on a Friday night, swiping left or right on her phone, Mya somehow ended up at an indie gaming convention. She was helping out a friend and was happy to do so since she was a gamer herself. Until she spotted JT Stone. JT was the last person she wanted to see. He annoyed her on a level that exceeded anything else even if she couldn't figure out why. She contemplated running, but the second he saw her, that idea went out the window.
She was just going to have to suck it up and talk to him. JT had never been more thankful he'd helped a friend. He hadn't known Mya would be at the gaming convention but if he had, he'd have purchased a dozen tickets, all for the chance to see her. He didn't know why she despised him, but that wasn't at all how he felt about her. From the moment he'd met her in Mexico, he'd been enamored. He did everything in his power to get closer to her, but nothing worked. Until now. Somehow, they were at the same place at the same time.  This could be his chance.
