Résumé
As knowledgeable beings, we have this incredible ability to mentally stimulate future occurrences by thinking ahead; this can help us anticipate future obstacles and troubles. When we think ahead it allows us to draw a positive plan for practical actions which can help us achieve our objectives and goals. However, when thinking ahead about the future or future events becomes excessive so much that it leaves you feeling anxious, apprehensive, afraid, or troubled, you are worried.
Worrying can so become uncontrollable and might become habitual, which is terrible for your wellbeing. And excessive worrying might lead to a primary symptom known as (GAD), i.e., Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Notwithstanding, it is essential to know that it is natural for humans to worry about stressful situations, danger, or threats. Worrying can help you prevent an unpleasant occurrence or scenario from happening and help draft a perfect or near-perfect working solution.
Yet, as helpful as worrying seems, it might also catapult into unhealthy steps and lead to adverse effects that can damage your health. When you worry too much and do so every day, you will become restless, leading to a lack of sleep. Sleeping is essential to repair and restore your body organs, lack of sleep by excessive worrying can impair your bodily functions. Your thoughts will be in shambles, and you will only constantly anticipate negative things and become a pessimist, leading to depression or suicide. The worst effect of worrying is that you become accustomed so much that even the safest situations with no threats of dangers will leave you feeling nervous, tensed, and afraid.
When you worry too much, you might remain stuck in a cycle of harmful and needless anxiety, which might mar your life forever.
