Résumé

Presents an expansive new index of Pairpoint (and predecessor Mt. Washington) cut and engraved decorative designs of the Brilliant Era and beyond. Comprising over 5, 500 entries in design name (or number) order, citations were accumulated and integrated from seven sources. The resulting index provides coverage of several hundred distnct designs, enabling quick access to printed as well as online examples of hundreds of shapes and designs.
This list provids invaluable cross-referencing, research and pattern identification support that was not previously available. The underlying data was accumulated and organized by the 2020-21 Mt. Washington/Pairpoint Research Project, working with these seven information sources: ACGA 2013 Mt. Washington catalogs printed compendium revised and corrected; the ACGA 1991 Pairpoint printed catalog compendium; reprints of advertisements published by Mt.
Washington and Pairpoint.in the LABAC Brilliant Cut Glass Advertisements Books 1 thru 6; the online Frost Pairpoint Knowledge Center Identification Catalog pages; the 2020 Version 1 Mt. Washington Patterns Sampler, available online in the ACGA Website Members Only ShowPlace; the three-part 2021 Version 1 Pairpoint Patterns Sampler, online in the ACGA Website Members Only ShowPlace; and the original Pairpoint catalog reprinted in the LABAC 2002 "PU" book. LABAC has opted to release this material in economical eBook form, so that it becomes more accessible to the growing population of online Brilliant Cut Glass collectors.
