Résumé

On the vast plains of the western United States there was a time of violence lacking any type of formal law. Violence begot violence as men built their fortunes and towns working to keep what they'd won while trying to take from others. Newspapers in these fledgling towns reported almost daily on violent events. The worst of these were widely reported, although there were no witnesses, only the death and destruction left behind.
These were blamed on Indians or known criminals of the day. One of the heroes of that time was Wyatt Earp and he knew there was more to the violence than most could have imagined. There was evil at work in the world and he had seen it.
