Résumé
This is a book for parents or carers, those with faith or no faith, to share with their children. This is the second book in the series. The first was about how Nathaniel's parents, Michelle and Jason, prayed for a son. That book ended with a celebration after Nathaniel was dedicated to God on his first visit to church. This book picks up the theme of the dedication and then journeys with the parents through Nathaniel's first year in church.
It looks at how his parents manage the transition from a couple to a family with a young baby in church. Whilst they want Nathaniel to experience the worship services in church, they recognize the challenges: the practicalities of planning his toys and clothes for church, who might help at church, the logistics of where they might sit, and the anxieties about managing the needs of a young child in church while thinking of the general congregation.
It ends with Nathaniel's mother recognizing there were good moments as well as challenges, but she wonders what the next phase of development might bring. Will the good times outweigh the challenging times?
