Résumé

Have you ever wondered what hides inside the big chimney which Santa Claus goes through every Christmas Eve? Jem is about to find out. Inside the chimney, she notices a magnificent white brick, but this brick is special; it lets Jem into a magical world full of toys. Do you want to join Jem's journey to Santa Claus' wonderland? Grab "Behind the White Brick" and come along. B. J. Harrison started his Classic Tales Podcast back in 2007, wanting to breathe new life into classic stories.
He masterfully plays with a wide array of voices and accents and has since then produced over 500 audiobooks. Now in collaboration with SAGA Egmont, his engaging narration of these famous classics is available to readers everywhere. Frances Hodgson Burnett was a British-American writer who lived in the period 1849 - 1924. She is best known for her children's novels but she wrote many plays as well.
Her style was innovative for her time because she depicted the working class's life which often took unexpected romantic turns in her stories. Some of her best known works are "Little Lord Fauntleroy", "The Secret Garden" and "The Lady of Quality". Her daughter Vivian Burnett wrote her mother's biography three years after her death. It was entitled "The Romantic Lady".
