The Hand That First Held Mine

hooked from the first line, i have loved getting to know lexie, elina, ted and enjoyed the other characters. it is a very good character development which does not affect the plot at all. the mystery (suspected in the middle but which did not tarnished the enjoyment of the book) created a cool thread throughout the book and the two different time period . her writing style is quite smooth and flows naturally, and i loved how well she used little details to make the story more tangible and memorable. furthermore, the changes of time within the two narratives never felt awkward or confusing but they were always fluid.
