Résumé

An international novel based on the horrors of the war in Western Norway. The retired lawyer Gert Schroder has spent eight years writing a book as truthful as possible about Germany in the twentieth century. Alicia Koch is a librarian at the Bavarian State Library in Munich and a friend of the married couple Gert and Lena Schroder. One day a Norwegian-born author living in England comes to the library.
His name is Haakon Lindar and he is looking for books on German history from the last two centuries. Through Alicia, Haakon Lindar gets in touch with Gert Schroder, and through several hour-long walks in the parks in Munich, they gain respect for each other. They both write books. Schroder reads Lindar's books, which are available digitally on Amazon, and he offers Lindar to read the manuscript of his new book.
Little does Schroder know that Lindar has a special purpose in contacting him. And when he finds out what it's all about, his world comes crashing down.
